ABOUT ME
Hi everyone, I'm Jason Lim, University of Melbourne final- semester actuarial science student. Being a data- driven individual who is skilled in programming (VBA, SAS, R) and statistical modelling (GLM, Time Series), I like to help businesses and individuals to solve problems that are related to data analytics and spreadsheet modelling. My technical expertise and financial acumen are underpinned by the following experiences:
1. Quantitative Risk Intern @ CIMB Investment Bank (Wholesale Credit Risk)
Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, CIMB Investment Bank is one of the largest Asian investment banks and has recently won the award for Most Innovative Investment Bank in Asia-Pacific conferred by the prestigious UK-based The Banker's Investment Banking Awards 2016 for the second time.
My responsibilities with CIMB Investment Bank include SAS programming, data preparation, data mining, process improvement, presentation and communication with the management
2. Actuarial Intern @ JPWALL Consulting Partners
JPWALL Consulting Partners is the largest independent actuarial consulting firm in Malaysia which provides services such as technical pricing and reserving in general insurance, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, software solutions and training.
My roles with JPWALL Consulting Partners include market research, model development, spreadsheet automation and preparation of final deliverables.
